Oscar deals with his superstitious nature.
- Anthropomorphic Personification: Gerald in a nutshell. An embodiment of superstition, and naturally a complete Nervous Wreck.
- Nervous Wreck: Gerald, who has a superstition about quite literally everything.
- Superstition Episode: Oscar has a superstition about eating breakfast after 9:30 AM, thinking that bad things will happen to him if he does. After it ends up spreading to Hedgehog, the witches perform a ritual to make the superstition into a sentient being, which Oscar names Gerald, so he can be dealt with.
