- Big Damn Heroes: Sonic after taking two chaos emeralds from Eggman, blasts a hole into the one already done by Knuckles and Rouge, making it big enough for them and the G.U.N units to get out of the building more Effie fly in time before the building explodes.
- Friendship Denial: Knuckles again denies being one of Sonic's friends when asked by Topaz.
- Inferiority Superiority Complex: Rouge says that Knuckles has one when he's planning on showing off Sonic. Knuckles however has no idea what that means.
- Oh, Crap!: Eggman gets one when his E-18 Guerra-Hard robot is about to explode after Sonic overpowers it thanks to the two Chaos Emeralds he snatched from it.
- Skewed Priorities: Knuckles and Rouge are too busy arguing with each other to escape before the bomb goes off with the G.U.N units. Topaz actually shouts at them in the middle of it that they have to get out of there now to snap them out of it.
- You're Cute When You're Angry: Rouge says this to Knuckles in the middle of their argument in the end.
