Samosa sees everything not moving and thinks time may have stopped.
"Time Freeze" contains the following tropes:
- Big Honking Traffic Jam: A traffic jam with a good amount of honking cars appears. One of the drivers convinces the others to stop honking, which further "confirms" Samosa's fear of time having halted.
- Celebratory Body Tossing: The townsfolks throw Samosa into the air when they celebrate his birthday.
- Continuity Nod: A few of the townsfolks in the birthday dance party are from previous episodes; Peter from "Pimple Samosa" and the Can-Can dancers from "Museum" are among them.
- Dance Party Ending: The episode culminates in Samosa's birthday party, with Samosa, his friends, and many townspeople and cameos dancing while "Happy Birthday to You" plays in the background.
- Dramatic Irony: Samosa has no idea that time hasn't actually stopped, just happening to find everyone frozen and continuing to the next location before or after they move.
- Internal Reveal: The fact that time hasn't frozen is clearly shown to the audience, but not Samosa until his sneaking around in the mayor's bedroom goes horribly wrong.
- Time Stands Still: Or at least, Samosa thinks it has; he wakes up and keeps finding things keeping still, without ever waiting to see if they move again.
