Episode Tropes:

  • Bittersweet Ending: Having realized the error of his ways, Bull Black sacrifices his life to stop the destabilization of the Earth's core. While Bull Black dies, he does release Hyuuga before doing so, allowing Ryouma and the Gingamen to finally be reunited with the latter.
  • Everyone Has Standards: As much as GoTaurus wants to defeat the Balban like his master, even he finds destroying the Earth to do so too far. So, GoTaurus forcibly disengages the Bull Taurus formation and leaves his master in disgust.
  • Honor Before Reason: Bull Black tries to goad Ryouma into killing him to free Hyuuga. Ryouma refuses because as much as he wants to see his brother, killing Bull Black would not be the right thing.
  • In the Back: Wangawanga stabs Bull Black in the back when the latter is busy berating GoTaurus for deserting him.
  • Jumping Off the Slippery Slope: In a last-ditch effort to destroy the Balban and satisfy his revenge, Bull Black energizes a volcano to destroy the Earth's core.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: An unintentional one. When Gingaioh destroyed Wangawanga, his spear falls into the pit Bull Black used to destabilize the core and cause a meltdown.
  • The Power of Hate: Illies sends out Wangawanga to drain humanity's hatred to awaken Daitanix.
  • Redemption Equals Death: After everything Bull Black did, he redeems himself by sacrificing his life to stop the destruction of the Earth.
  • The Reveal: Bull Black has been using Hyuuga's body and Earth Power to fight the Balban. Hyuuga is also behind Bull Black's chest pains as they are meant to stop the latter from doing something that would harm civilians.
  • This Is Something He's Got to Do Himself: Bull Black traps the Gingamen in an energy field so they could be safe from his suicidal attempt in stabilizing the Earth's core and tells the returning GoTaurus to stay back.
  • Wham Episode: Bull Black sacrifices his life and, in the process, releases Hyuuga after the latter's supposed death since the start of the series.
