While on sabbatical in Mexico trying to figure out his future after being demoted from 20 Squad, Hondo finds himself helping a mother and daughter trying to protect their farm from the thugs of a greedy investor.

- Bullying a Dragon: AJ and his goons realise pretty quickly picking a fight with Hondo was the wrong idea.
- Chronic Hero Syndrome: Despite his insistence he can't get involved, Hondo can't help himself from helping Delfina and her mother.
- Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Delfina abducted by Arthur Novak's goons to force her mother to sell the farm, with Hondo and Officer Charro planning a rescue.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: What Hondo inflicts on AJ and his hired thugs.
