Tropes
- The Chosen Many: Origin chose 'seven' people to be part of the Hero's party, including Flum.
- Kick the Dog: Jean takes great pleasure in burning the slave mark into Flum's cheek along with lying to her that all the Hero's party wanted her gone when in reality none of them would have agreed to this.
- The Load: Despite Flum's attempts to be useful to the group outside of battle, Jean still treats her like this.
- Lured into a Trap: Jean gets Flum to follow him. When she realizes that Jean is about to do something to do to her, it is too late.
- Nice Guy: Eterna and Gladio are the only ones who consistently treat Flum well in the group. She has the hardest time believing that they would actually agree to selling her into slavery.
- Resigned to the Call: Flum makes it no secret that she didn't want to be chosen, but she is only part of the Hero's Party because she was chosen by Origin, and she also didn't want to hurt her village either.
- We Used to Be Friends: Flum and Cyrill used to be friends prior to the beginning of the series.
