- Comically Missing the Point: When Donut informs Sarge he didn't tell Caboose anything and that it seems like he already knew a lot about them and their base, Sarge immediately assumes they have a leak and wants Grif to find out who's responsible, completely ignoring that he was the one who revealed it all to Caboose while shouting for Donut not to tell him.
- Murder Is the Best Solution: When Donut wonders how he can catch Sarge in a good mood, Caboose suggests he kill Grif. Donut is tempted, but Red Team has a rule against killing teammates.
- Not Now, Kiddo: When Donut returns to Red Base, Simmons tries to tell Sarge, but Sarge shuts him down so he can continue ranting.
- Pet the Dog: When Donut returns to Red Team as Sarge is planning to send Grif on a "Suicide Mission" to get him back, not only does he seem to show concern for Donut, he tells Grif "excellent work" depite him not doing anything to get Donut back and not getting killed.
- With Catlike Tread: Caboose tries to "sneak" into Red Base by loudly whispering "sneaking" while moving and while hiding inside a crate. Grif easily realizes what he's doing, but is too lazy to actually tell Sarge.
