Washington gives Caboose a present, while the Reds get their new robot working. Then, the canyon gets some unexpected visitors.

- Apology Gift: As part of his apology to Caboose for not being there for him as he was grieving over Church leaving, he presents to him what he had been working on for the last couple of episodes, a helmet styled to look like Caboose's original Mark V helmet that he missed so much.
- Big Damn Heroes: When the Reds and Blues are under attack from a mysterious soldier, a second soldier jumps out to help them.
- Comically Missing the Point: When C.C., the malfunctioning Mantis Unit the Reds constructed, identifies everyone in the canyon as a hostile, including Red Team, and prepares to kill them, they are just barely saved by her shutting down due to her running out of fuel, since Sarge converted her to diesel. Sarge, ignoring how she was about to kill them, is disappointed by this and suggests she needs a bigger fuel tank.Grif: Fuck that! She needs to be thrown off a cliff!
Sarge: Well, I don't see how that'll solve the fuel problem. - Continuity Nod: Lopez tells his successor of the time he was used as a scarecrow.
- The Cloud Cuckoolander Was Right: Sarge referring to the giant robot the Reds found as a pretty lady. When the Cyclops first activates, it speaks with a female voice.
- Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: When Cici activates, she detects sixteen hostiles.Donut: Guys...there's 11 of us in the canyon. [...] But, she said 16.

Grif: Oh, shit. - Foreshadowing: "...be glad I missed your head." Season 12 will reveal that the speaker didn't miss.
- Hiding Behind the Language Barrier: Lopez tells Dos.0 one perk of being on Red Team; since none of them speak Spanish, he can insult them all he likes. He and Dos.0 take the time to mock Sarge.
- Invisibility: The attacking soldier turns invisible to escape.
- Status Quo Is God: Caboose gets his old Mark V helmet back as a gift from Wash, and Caboose steps down as Blue Team leader.
