• Blackmail Backfire: Randall was hopeful that as long as he had the embarrassing photo of King Bob, he'd be the titular Prince. He never saw it coming that TJ would have a plan to nullify the blackmail. In the end, despite the trump card Randal previously had, all he can do is shrug that it was nice while it lasted.
• Chew-Out Fake-Out: After Randall tells King Bob that T.J. has been entertaining people with a mocking impression of the King, Bob orders his guards to bring him forward. As they grab T.J., Bob tells them he meant Randall. Bob doesn't care about what T.J. did because he's a Class Clown who always does stuff like that. On the other hand, he is sick of Randall snitching on the other kids to him and forbids him from speaking to the King ever again.
• The Determinator: Prince Randal has TJ beaten up to break his spirit. In response, TJ tells his friends "There's out, and then there's out."
• Wham Line: King Bob telling the his subjects he's not an only child: he has an older sister, "Lady Sheila".
• You Are Not Alone: When it's revealed that the embarrassing photo is of King Bob trying out dresses for his older sister, TJ brings up a funny anecdote of his own about how his older sister did something embarrassing to him. What follows suit is all the other kids sharing their own hilarious anecdotes about the things their older siblings did to them. In such a way, King Bob's embarrassing story isn't so embarrassing anymore, and the hold it had over him is no more.
