Go To

While attempting to expose the truth, Magne gets another shock. Hope seems lost, but have the Jutuls underestimated their foe – and the power of good?

Tropes:

  • Apologetic Attacker: Fjor apologizes to Gry before he tries to kill her.
  • Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Magne knocking out Vidar and himself with a lightning blast. One of the last shots is Magne's fingers moving slightly, showing that he is still alive. Vidar's fate however remains open.
  • Comfort Food: Turid eats masses of chocolate after Magne is expelled from school for the rest of the school year.
  • Copycat Mockery: Laurits has dressed up as Ran for the Constitution Day event and gives a speech imitating her accent. He even has bleached his hair light blond.
  • Dictionary Opening: The episode starts with a dictionary entry about "The Seeress' Prophecy".
  • Hannibal Lecture: During their fight, Vidar talks down to Magne and muses that he isn't Thor after all.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Fjor tells Magne where Vidar has brought the barrels. He also at first refuses to kill Gry, and when Magne fights off Vidar, Fjor gets Gry to safety.
  • It Was Here, I Swear!: After finding the thousands of barrels in the cave in the glacier, Magne retrieves the police but when they arrive at the scene Vidar already has moved the barrels and the storeroom is empty.
  • No-Sell: In the climax, Magne repeatedly punches Vidar in the face with absolutely no effect.
  • She Knows Too Much: Fjor's family orders him to kill Gry because she has seen their old photos.
  • Shock and Awe: Magne finally knocks out Vidar by summoning a lightening blast on top of him.
  • Title Drop: "Yes, we love this country" is the name (and the first line) of the Norwegian national anthem, which is sung at the Constitution Day event.
