After the exciting, yet equally tiring school festival, Yu and and the gang decide to spend the night at the Amagi Hotel. The bath house is the place to be, but a slight slip up by Yukiko causes a world of grief (and pain) for the boys...
This episode provides examples of:
- Adaptation Expansion: Aside from adapting the Investigation Team's trip to the Amagi Inn, the episode also includes the confrontation with the reporters from Yukiko's social link, now expanded to show the rest of the Investigation Team's reactions to the reporters.
- Berserk Button: Yosuke, Kanji & Teddie are pissed when they hear the reporters harassing Yukiko. It's only Yukiko telling them where to go that stops the guys from dealing with them.
- Breather Episode
- Butt-Monkey: The guys, as ever.
- Karma Houdini: The girls don't get their comeuppance for their treatment of the boys after the mix-up with the Hot Springs, nor do they apologise. This is in part because when confronted about it, the girls respond by accusing the boys of trying to take advantage of the situation & sneak a peak of the girls, which Yosuke admits to. Likewise for Ohtani and Kashiwagi for trying to rape the boys.
