Caliban lets loose his anger on Dr. Frankenstein over events involving Brona; Rusk puts together a connection between Sir Malcolm and Ethan Chandler; Sir Malcolm is put under a spell when he goes to meet Evelyn.

- Lucifer was not an only child. He was joined by a sibling in his rebellion, and both were cast out of Heaven by God; Lucifer was sent to Hell while his brother was sent to Earth, where he became the Vampire Master.
- Sir Malcolm notes that Lyle has been mistranslating "Hound of God;" it's actually "Wolf of God."
- Title Drop: Delivered by Evelyn:Evelyn: Memory. It is such a potent force in our lives. All of these memento mori for one sobering message, "Remember that you will die."
- Who Wants to Live Forever?: Surprisingly, Evelyn has a case of this. She expresses to Sir Malcolm that she's very lonely, while tempting him to join her.
- Xanatos Gambit: Even though Evelyn's Plan A of having a possessed Malcolm attack the group fails because he breaks the spell on himself, she knows things will still work to her advantage because Malcolm will surely come looking for revenge and be captured as bait for Vanessa.
