Scootaloo becomes drowsy after foalsitting the twins and is allowed to stay the night. The next morning, Mrs. Cake asks Scootaloo if the twins caused trouble. Scootaloo says that while they weren't all that naughty, there was one thing that frightened them all. Mrs. Cake, concerned, asks for details and Scootaloo says, "Have you ever seen a diaper explode before?". Mr. Cake, on the verge of passing out, hopes it doesn't mean "what [he thinks] it means". Scootaloo clarifies that Pound's diaper did explode, but not in the way one might think.
We flash back to an hour and a half or so after the Cake parents left. Scootaloo talks to the twins, somewhat sadly, about her inability to fly. Eventually she cheers up though and decides to look on the bright side. She then asks the twins what they'd like to do and they reply that they want to play with balloons.
Scootaloo, upon hearing where the balloons and helium are kept, takes the twins upstairs to search for them. She eventually finds them and they go downstairs with her out of breath. After catching her breath, Scootaloo blows up some balloons and happily watches the twins play with them. Then, she leaves to go for a pee.
The twins grow bored of waiting and Pound gets an idea: inflate his diaper like a balloon. Pumpkin uses her telekinesis to lift the hose, put it in his diaper, and turn on the helium.
Scootaloo comes back from the bathroom, she hears a loud pop and finds Pound naked and looking shocked and embarrassed. She sternly demands an explanation and points out that it could have been dangerous, intimidating the twins.
We cut back to the present, with everyone happy that Pound's diaper was the only thing that blew up and that it wasn't used when it happened.
