Kotaku warns the crew that they will publish an article about Mythic Quest among Nazi groups. How they will deal with the subject takes over the staff, overshadowing the release of Poppy's new feature, Dinner Party.

While Ian tries to think of a way to draw the Nazis out, David joins Dana, Jo, Brad, and Rachel in order to make a committee meant to find out which groups shouldn't be allowed in the game.

Tropes

  • Five-Token Band: Invoked. Brad manipulates his well-meaning white boss David into forming an ethics committee that's as diverse as possible to figure out how to deal with hate groups on the platform (as a way to buy time since the Nazis are paying customers — Brad's priority). David initially recruits Brad himself (Indian-Polish), Jo (white woman) and Dana (black woman). He also includes Rachel and C.W. after considering they're a lesbian and old respectively.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: Watchers can pause the video and see what has been added to the not hate groups list David made.
  • Take a Third Option: Kicking the Nazis out of the game would be a "first amendment nightmare" in Ian's words, but maintaining them would be a PR disaster regardless. Once Poppy's dinner party singles out the Nazis, Ian comes up with the idea that they can just wire all these accounts to a unique server that houses nothing but the Nazis. This way, all Nazis can only interact with each other and the general player-base is blind to their existence. As Poppy jokes, if a Nazi makes a swastika in the ground and nobody is there to see, it doesn't matter.
  • Those Wacky Nazis: Invoked. Head writer C.W.'s first instinct upon hearing they have a Nazi problem among their players is to come up with a fantasy Nazi villain for the story.
