The Mystery Science Theater 3000 presentation of SST: Death Flight has examples of:
- Feel No Pain: Servo boasts that as a robot, he feels no pain, so Joel tests that boast with a series of electrical shocks to simulate common physical injuries. He laughs it all off until Joel puts it to the highest setting: "Watching an hour of Arsenio Hall".
- The Teaser: This is the only KTMA episode to use a cold opening, something that would not be seen again in MST3K until the Netflix seasons.
