Tropes
- Added Alliterative Appeal: The Bureau of Balance and Bracers of Balance.
- Alchemy Is Magic: Jusin specializes in the Transmutation school of magic.
- Clingy Costume: We learn that the bracers can't be removed.
- Continuity Nod: A Bureau agent brings up Magnus tearing off the robot's arms and Magnus high-fives him with it. He also plans on using it in a fight with a giant spider later.
- Money, Dear Boy: In-Universe. The Director says that she understands that not everyone is after money. Merle laughs.
- It Was with You All Along: Discussed. Taako is vey audibly annoyed with the prospect of the last of the seven artifacts being either a metaphor or an abstract concept. He half jokes that they can just stop at collecting six if the last one isn't a real item, just so he doesn't have to deal with the annoyance of this trope.
- Shout-Out:
- Taako asks if the the seventh and final magical artifact they need to recover is actually "love." The titular final element of The Fifth Element is revealed during the climax to be love.
- When Clint decides to make Merle a Druid priest, Griffin is surprised and says he didn't envision Clint going in a Captain Planet and the Planeteers direction with his character.
- Took a Level in Badass: The PCs level up to level four and get some new magic gear.
