• Creative Closing Credits: In keeping with the plot, the closing credits are done in the style of a silent movie, with the same border as the "The End" card of Raymond's film.
• Not-So-Fake Prop Weapon: The second death in the episode occurs when the director, demonstrating to Lily how he wants her to play a scene, picks up the supposed prop knife she's meant to use on Vernon and stabs himself in the chest with it. The prop knife had been swapped for a real one between takes.
• Photographic Memory: The director's assistant, Clara, is strongly implied to have eidetic memory. Her complete visual recall enables the investigators to verify when the Not-So-Fake Prop Weapon was switched, and saves the movie at the end of the episode by allowing her to step into the role of leading lady (since she has the script memorized).
