Higsby and Shuko see an old war ship rising from the ocean and mistake it for a ghost ship. It turns out to be the work of Zoan Flame Man.


  • Adaptational Villainy: Flame Man was already a villain to begin with, but whereas his game counterpart was following Mr. Match's orders, Zoan Flame Man act of his own accord.
  • Adaptational Wimp: One hit is able to put out Flame Man's candle flames permanently, making the fire on his body disappear.
  • And I Must Scream: The episode begins with Mega Man, Roll, and Trill watching a horror movie and later investigating a supposed haunted ship. Mega Man is prohibited from screaming to not shatter Trill's big brother image of him. By the end of the episode, Mega Man lets out a huge scream that a bunch of lights downtown illuminate and knocks down Lan and Dr. Hikari.
  • Badass Adorable: Trill is able to collect the Beast Viruses by grabbing them and shrinking them into little cubes.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Mega Man yelling at Trill for scaring him with a ghost costume tells Zoan Flame Man of intruders.
  • Villain Ball: Zoan Flame Man's motivation for restoring the ghost ship was to destroy a factory producing Copybots on a deserted island. After succeeding his mission, he decides to open fire on Beyondard as well.
