Comedic Sociopathy: Al spends most of the episode wreaking havoc at Chuck E. Cheese by stealing balloons from babies and wrapping empty boxes as presents to gain entry into kid's parties to steal their food.
Double Standard Rape: Female on Male: Defied and played straight, while Bud's other date thinks it's impressive that the teacher is attracted to him. Al on the other hand is appalled and gets the (wrong) teacher arrested.
Failure Is the Only Option: Al ends up being right, while Bud chose his younger girlfriend, it turns out that the other teacher wanted to be with another student who did please her, and his other date is so unimpressed he got dumped, she dumps him too.
Genre Savvy: Al warns Bud that no matter which girl he chooses he'll choose the wrong one.
Good Parents: Al learns Bud is sleeping with his teacher so he calls the cops on her, too bad he had the wrong woman.
Idiot Ball: Bud suspects he might be dreaming so rather than do something that won't hurt him like pinch himself or splash cold water on his face, he pulls his pants down in front of the class.
Laser-Guided Karma: After years of lackadaisical parenting, Peg's narcissism comes back to bite her as no one wants to help her while she's sick as she's never helped them.
Lousy Lovers Are Losers: Bud loses both his dates from this. The teacher leaves him for a football layer who's better in bed, and his other date dumps him because he can't satisfy a 40-year-old woman.
Papa Wolf: Al is legitimately infuriated upon finding out that Bud is dating a 40-year old woman and shows up at the school the next day to blast her for her behavior and have her arrested. Too bad it's the wrong woman, but otherwise, Al's reaction is completely appropriate.
Throw the Dog a Bone: Al actually gets it pretty good in this episode: He eats regularly for a change, gets back Peg for never doing any housework, and doesn't have to deal with sex.
