• Gone Horribly Right: Samo wanted Mabel's predictions to come true so she wouldn't be mocked by the other Cappies. When Tuff and the kids pull pranks to make them come true, not only does everyone in town believe that she can see the future but have become extremely dependent on her. It gets worse when Dedede declares her Prime Minister of Dreamland.
• Insane Troll Logic: Dedede seems to believe that by having Mabel as Prime Minster, he'll finally be able to turn Whispy Woods into his country club. It doesn't seem to occur to him that her predictions aren't going to be completely beneficial to him.
• Kicked Upstairs: Dedede has Mabel become Prime Minster of Dreamland after her predictions come true.
• Prophecy Twist: Played With. Dedede and Escargoon laugh of the idea of lighting inside a TV studio. That's when Tuff has Kirby literally bring the lights down which short out and electrocute the two.
• Women Are Wiser: Out of all the kids, Honey is the only one to wonder why Samo is willing to go to great lengths to ensure Mabel's predictions come true.
