Tropes

  • Beat Them at Their Own Game: Harabote Muscle arranges for Kin and Wolfman's match to be like a sumo fight, seemingly giving Wolfman the advantage, but Kin wins by duplexing Wolfman out of the arena.
  • Curb Stomp Cushion: Although Ramenman beats Brocken in one move, this is after he allows the younger Choujin to whale on him for a bit.
  • Enemy Mine: During the final prelim, Kin and Wolfman team up to win the race.
  • Dramatic Unmask: Several;
    • Mr. Barracuda, Warsman's trainer, turns out to be Robin Mask.
    • After losing, Warsman takes off his own mask, revealing that his "face" is actually just a circuit-board with eyes.
  • Good Thing You Can Heal: Ramenman took a lot of damage during his fight with Brocken Jr., but is just fine for his match with Warsman due to Choujin having a Healing Factor. Kin finds this interesting, as he heals slower than normal people.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: In order to get out of his match with Warsman, Kin switches masks with Meat. Given the difference in sizes, no one is fooled.
  • Train Stopping: Terryman loses the train-pushing event when he stops his own train to save a puppy that wandered onto the tracks.
