At the Drive Pit, Captain Honganji and the SCU are going over what they know: Banno intends to use the power of four Ultimate Evolutions to activate a second, more powerful Global Freeze. To that end, he created the Sigma Circular and got the four Ultimates (Heart, Brain, Medic and himself as Gold Drive) to power it. Despite Brain's sacrifice, Banno gained the power he needed and fled as the Kamen Riders, Heart and Medic were consumed in 004's suicide attack. Lt. Otta curses the fact he and the special operatives with him weren't able to help, nor find any sign of the three Riders.

As the SCU are coming to grips with this revelation, as well as the fact Banno was headed to the true Promised Land, a force of Reapers attacks the Drive Pit and wrecks the place, driving the SCU out of the building and leaving it in flames. The Riders reemerge and make quick work of the Roidmudes, explaining how Mach managed to save everyone by knocking them clear.

Meanwhile, Banno invades the Special Defense Center, revealing that it is the Promised Land where the second Global Freeze will begin. Taken by surprise, the center is quickly taken. Banno then raises a powerful force field that prevents a direct assault, and sends spikes throughout the city to cause chaos.

Learning this, the Riders wonder what they can do, as without the Drive Pit they aren't able to perform the maintainence needed to break through the shield. Honganji reveals a secondary pit, set up by Shinnosuke's former partner Hayase as a fallback base. The SCU get to work repairing the Riders' various vehicles, knowing full well it's nearly time for the final battle.

Shinnosuke takes the time to call Kiriko, asking her to stay put as she's not in any shape to join the battle. He nearly admits his feelings, but is unable to go through with it.

The next day, Shinnosuke assures everyone that the final battle has finally arrived, and calls on them to, "Come along for the ride." That said, the Riders transform and charge into battle.

Banno's spikes try to hinder them, but the new upgrades to the Tridoron and other vehicles allows them to smash through the spikes and the force field. No sooner have they broken in, however, when Gold Drive arrives with a group of Reapers.

Banno reveals that by weaponising the technology he and Krim used to preserve their personalities in the Drive Belt, he is able to digitise people and, with enough time, reprogram him into obedient slaves. Go mocks his plan as being even dumber than a typical Mad Scientist plan, and the offended Banno orders the attack.

The resulting fight is short and sharp, Banno singling Mach out as his greatest failed creation. As Mach is on the verge of destruction, Heart and Medic arrive. Heart observes that while he'd killed Banno once before, he felt Banno deserved a fate worse than death. He then mockingly points out that the destruction of the Sigma Circular and crushing Banno's delusions of godhood would be a good start.

Chaser and Mach stay behind to battle Gold Drive while Drive, Heart and Medic make their way to the Sigma Circular. However, as the battle goes on, Chase and Go find themselves outmatched, the fight spilling into the underground parking area.

An enraged Banno prepares to kill Go, when Chase adopts his Machine Chaser form and engages him again. When this fails, he passes on some of his keepsakes to Go and charges Gold Drive, both of them vanishing in an explosion. Before Go's horrified eyes, the 000 core floats out of the flames, and explodes.

Meanwhile at the hospital, Kiriko is overcome by a sense of dread...

  • All Your Base Are Belong to Us: The Special Defense Center, which was meant to be used by the SCU in their battle against the Roidmudes, is instead taken over by those same Roidmudes.
  • Autobots, Rock Out!: The insert song used when Kamen Riders Drive, Mach and Chaser arrive to rescue their SCU comrades. Bonus points for being sung by Shinnosuke, Go and Chase's actual actors.
  • Bait-and-Switch: Shinnosuke's phone call to Kiriko sounds a lot like a confession, and Kiriko seems to recognise it as such. Alas, Shinnosuke falters at the finish line and awkwardly calls her his important partner, Kiriko's face falling as a result.
  • The Bus Came Back: After Hayase's long hiatus since episode 25, he finally makes a return with the help of some of the police's special vehicle experts to help out the Riders since Drive Pit got totaled and they needed a new place to tune the Rider Vehicles.
  • Cannot Spit It Out: Shinnosuke is unable to tell Kiriko how he feels, and he's likewise unable to see Kiriko's disappointed look when he calls her his buddy (i.e. partner).
  • Drama-Preserving Handicap: Go is injured from overclocking Type Deadheat to save the Riders and Heart and Medic from 004, but tells Chase to not say anything because he still wants to participate in the fight against Banno despite his injury.
  • Enemy Mine: When it seemed like Go was about to get killed by Banno, Heart and Medic save Go to repay him for saving them and side with the Riders to fight Gold Drive, even transforming together before kicking butt.
  • Fate Worse than Death: Heart feels that destroying the Sigma Circular and crushing Banno's grand scheme would be one to Banno. Judging by Banno's enraged reaction, he's probably right.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: After Banno destroys Chase's Mach Driver Honoh and tries to kill a defenseless Go, Chase takes the brunt of the damage and after giving Go his driver's license and Chaser Signal Bike, tries a Taking You with Me to destroy Banno with the last of his energy.
  • My Greatest Failure: Banno calls Go this.
  • Trash the Set: Banno has the Reaper Unit Roidmudes go and trash the Drive Pit to make it unable to operate. Thankfully, there's a backup in case thanks to Hayase.

The Roidmude Count: 5
The Answer: Chase, once he learned of what being a human is like, wishes that he wants to be like them, in following a good example.
