Kazumi has transformed with the Grease Blizzard Knuckle in the Build Driver. It's time for him to let his passion burn.
Episode Tropes:
- Achilles' Heel: Utsumi apparently designed a flaw for Hell Bros. that could neutralize their attacks. The weakness? SameBike, just like in the Raising the Hazard Level mini-series.
- Brick Joke: Remember how Takumi said in the recap of #39 that Utsumi was a Cyborg? It looks like he was not off base with his assumption since Utsumi was remodeled into a Cyborg the day Gentoku shot him off the bridge.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Even if Utsumi fought with Rogue, they were still no match for Evolt in his EvolCobra form.
- Do Not Go Gentle: If there is anything that could be said about Kazumi's last battle, it is that he went down swinging.
- Died in Your Arms Tonight: Misora begs Kazumi not to die, but Kazumi is too far gone after taking lethal damage and only lasts a few minutes after his battle ends. He only passes on after giving Misora the completed Castle Lost Bottle and his dog tags.
- Heel–Face Turn: Utsumi appears in front of Gentoku after Gentoku starts losing ground against the Hell Bros. doppelgangers to help even the odds.
- I Fight for the Strongest Side!: Invoked by Utsumi, since he believed that once Evolt killed Juzaburo Nanba, there was no way the Riders would be able to stop Evolt unless they too had someone who used the Evol Driver on their side. As a plus, he would be able to act under Evolt's radar and perhaps get revenge for Evolt killing Nanba.
- Insistent Terminology: The reason why Misora never called Kazumi by his real name or nickname? She feared setting off a death flag that would end up getting him killed. She only calls him by his nickname after he dies.
- Moment of Silence: When Misora appears to the cast on top of Pandora Tower, everything but the sound of blowing wind is muted as the cast show how devastated they have become as a result of Kazumi's death.
- Redemption Equals Death: Utsumi shows off how powerful he is when he manages to replicate up to Phase 4 of Evolt's power ups using the Evol Driver, but even as a cyborg his body can't handle the strain, and he breaks down just before he can land his finisher and is forced out of his transformation by Evolt. A few moments later, Utsumi's body props itself up to save Gentoku and Sawa from being impaled by Evolt, giving Gentoku enough time to escape with Sawa.
- The Rest Shall Pass: When Evolt creates doppelgangers of the Hell Bros., Gentoku tells Sento and Ryuga to go on without him.
- What the Hell, Hero?: When Sento and Ryuga see Kazumi fighting as Grease Blizzard, Ryuga first questions if they could do something to save him, and then starts yelling at Sento, demanding why he even created the Blizzard Knuckle if it was so dangerous.
