Orange is the new black... especially if it matches well with black.
Sento: The brilliant physicist Kiryu Sento is sadly now on the run, alongside violent criminal Banjou...
Ryuuga: Why are you calling me that?! Leave this to me. A year ago I went to meet scientist Katsuragi Takumi and found him dead. And then the cops showed up, and arrested me!
Sento: You're taking too long! To get an acquittal for Banjou, we're seeking the truth while on the run from the government and an evil organization. And now, what'll happen in episode 3?!
Ryuuga: What's an acquittal?
Sento: Can't you just look it up in a dictionary...?

Masahiro Nabeshima: the man that is responsible for Banjou's woes, including the death of his fiancee... as well as the key to the whole mystery.

The gang start to seek him out, but rather than help, Sento goes out to face another Smash. Ryuuga is infuriated, and asks him what is more important: his missing memories or helping as Build?

The genius, without a pause, answers: Build.

After managing to get Nabeshima's contact info, Banjou immediately calls him, telling him to testify and prove his innocence. He can't, however, because his family is held hostage in Seito by the organization he works for, which goes by the name "Faust". In exchange for saving his family, he will cooperate. Unbeknownst to Ryuuga, this is yet another ploy by Night Rogue...

  • Big Damn Heroes: Build pulls two of those during the episode:
    • At the start, when he saves a child from his Smash-turned mother.
    • At the end, when he saves Ryuuga from the Guardians.
  • Camera Abuse: Build's GorillaMond Finishing Move hits Flying Smash so hard, it also damages the screen!
  • Character Witness: Ryuuga and Sawa are denied passage on the boat to Seito after the Guardians and Mirage Smash come into play. However, the boat belongs to the husband of the woman that was the Flying Smash. She recognizes Sawa and, in gratitude for Build's help, lets them on board anyway.
  • Conveniently Timed Attack from Behind: Blood Stalk waits until Sento has turned off his belt, before poisoning him and spiriting Nabeshima away.
  • Handshake Refusal: When Taizen offers a handshake to the leaders of Seito and Hokuto, they don't even bother raising their arms, and just cut off the transmission.
  • Let's Split Up, Gang!: Sento, Misora and Souichi remain in Touto, while Ryuuga and Sawa go to Seito to save Nabeshima's family.
  • Talking Is a Free Action: Averted. After Banjou accidentally uses the power of the Dragon Full Bottle to punch a Guardian across the room, he takes a moment to marvel at it, noting that this will make it easy... Only to notice that the Guardians took the time to surround him.
  • Wham Shot: Gentoku talking about how Blood Stalk is on the move, while fiddling with the Rocket Full Bottle, proving that the Prime Minister's aide is in fact somehow involved with Faust.
