- Enemy Mine: Once Lobo gets the Spider Gauntlet and becomes more powerful than the Justice League and the Red Lantern Corps, both groups join forces to take him down.
- False Flag Operation: Lobo wanted to steal a powerful artifact from the Justice League, so he stole some Red Lantern rings to lure them to the Watchtower, making them think the Justice League was in on the theft.
- Leeroy Jenkins: Zilius Zox repeatedly urges the Red Lanters to just charge in and attack, though he quickly backs down when Atrocitus rejects the idea.
