Rafael recuperates from his accident in the previous episode as Luisa informs him and Petra that she knows about the Katherine plot. Jane learns that Adam is bisexual. Lina is back in town and is nervous about her upcoming nuptials. Xiomara asks Rogelio to get a vasectomy.
- Double Standard: Jane talks about how it's more socially acceptable for men to sleep around.
- Gaslighting: Magda and Anezka made Luisa think she was hallucinating again by having Anezka claim no one can see their henchman Anton.
- Hidden Depths: Lina's fiance Danny initially seems like a boring accountant, but it turns out that he knows Lina very well and is actually a lot like Jane.
- Parental Sexuality Squick: Jane is repeatedly squicked out by Xiomara's details about her intimacy with Rogelio. Xiomara is similarly disgusted by Alba talking about how she'd walk around braless to get her husband to do something.
- Tantrum Throwing: Luisa takes out her frustrations regarding the hotel sales on flowerpots and vases.
