Learning that Elyon's adoptive parents are imprisoned in the underground prison Cavigor, the Guardians and Chans, with help from the J-Team, plan to break them out.
- Amplifier Artifact: Uncle works with Will to use the Heart to boost one of his chi spells so that she can harm Tarakudo.
- Cover-Blowing Superpower: The heroes want to break Elyon's foster parents and the other Cavigor prisoners out, but they don't want to risk revealing either the Infinite City or their possession of the Seal of Phobos. They thus split their forces as a distraction, and manage to get in and out without anyone on Phobos's side being the wiser as to how.
- Crazy-Prepared: Caleb, anticipating that they'd encounter Tarakudo at the prison break, had his sword coated with onion juice, and they brought a smokescreen with onion powder that Cornelia could manipulate via her powers.
- For Want Of A Nail: Whereas in canon, the Guardians are on the defensive for most of their Cavigor jailbreak, the addition of the J-Team helps them keep things much more evenly balanced. They also manage to keep their portal creating capabilities and the Infinite City a secret.
