A preview to a parallel world that will connect to the journey for the Seeker of Crocus
Tropes include:
- Accent Slip-Up: Once he's exposed as an imposter, Armand drops Augustine's Kalosian accent.
- Alternate Self: Alternate versions of Augustine, Asher, Gloria, Yuri, and Ryu are shown kicking ass and taking names.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: Augustine and Armand address the viewer at the very end.
- Deadly Game: The preview starts with many people being forced to fight against several creatures and themselves as part of the game that many people at another location can watch. Although, it's short-lived when the alternate versions of the heroes infiltrated and sabotage everything.
- In-Series Nickname: Ryu calls Yuri "Yu-Yu".
- Sweet Tooth: Ryu notes that he's getting a parfait if he takes his mission seriously.
- Thou Shall Not Kill: Armand doesn't kill, rather his blade removes corruption from a person's body. Even so, he deliberately misses his blade from Mauve's chest just to scare him.
- Wham Line:
- The beginning reads "Road to Platanus Crocus", meaning that it's connected to the other side-stories.
- Augustine ends the preview with the lines "See you in Arcanum", meaning that these are all alternate versions of the Crocus cast.
