When strange things start occurring with Ray, Henry and Charlotte investigate and soon discover the cause of his behavior are the result of an old enemy who was thought to be dead. Meanwhile, Piper is mistakenly sent a driver's license.
How about before we run out of tropes and slowly die?
- Batman Gambit: Brad turns out to have faked his death from getting hit by the bus, making people think he's dead so he can sneak into the Man Cave undetected and take over Ray's job.
- Big Damn Heroes: Jasper and Piper drive all the way to Swellview Cemetery to save Henry and Ray from Brad's coffin underground.
- Chekhov's Gun: The petite walkie talkies that Henry and Jasper got in the mail become important later in the episode, as Jasper was able to call him underground so Henry could ask him to help he and Ray out of Brad's coffin.
- Drives Like Crazy: Piper, after getting a driver's license. She drives over speed limits, makes hard turns, drives across the grass, and hits a headstone. Even though she got it by mistake, it is technically valid and she keeps it.
- Faking the Dead: It was revealed Brad's death from getting hit by the bus was forged by him as a Batman Gambit to sneak into Ray's life and take over as Captain Man.
- I Need to Go Iron My Dog: Henry's excuse when Charlotte sounds the alert on his watch and had to step out for the call.Henry: I need to go to the porch, and uh... smell the porch.
- Not Quite Dead: Invisible Brad turns out to have survived the bus crash last season.
- Wham Line: Charlotte reveals the answer behind Ray's mishaps:Charlotte: Your problem might be...Invisible Brad.
