- Does This Remind You of Anything?: Apachie Chief's size-changing abilities are directly compared to the ability to get an erection, with his inability to use said powers after pouring hot coffee on his lap being not unlike erectile disfunction due to injury. The same applies to Black Vulcan's Shock and Awe powers.
- Establishing Character Moment: At the start of the case, the prosecutor Myron Reducto is brandishing his shrink gun at the audience as he passes them, accusing them of touching him as though people are out to get him while Judge Mightor just tells him to knock it off.
- Politically Incorrect Hero: The case brings to light some discriminatory practices the Superfriends took with their minority members, firing Apache Chief after his injury just being one of their problems.Myron Reducto: Isn't it true that the reason you left the Superfriends was because you were fired?...
