The fourth story of Gravity Falls Rule 63.

An alleged psychic named Jennifer Gleeful is introduced and Salls, Dana, and Marcus go to see her show against Silvia's wishes. The psychic turns out to be a little kid who fails to demonstrate any actual powers in her show, leaving Dana unimpressed. Jennifer and Marcus start hanging out, and soon they become Pony pals due to their same interest in all things Pony related. Meanwhile, Silvia becomes friends with Jennifer's widowed mother Bonnie. Later, Jennifer tells Dana she isn't evil and she's just a harmless psychic. Dana "Pinkie Promises" Jennifer she won't tell anyone about this, especially Marcus.

Tropes present in this story:

• Continuity Nod: Marcus is wearing the Fluttershy medallion that someone suggested he wear in the previous chapter.
• Foreshadowing: At one point, Jennifer compares herself to Princess Luna and Marcus to a male version of Princess Celestia. Jennifer initially befriended Marcus as part of Bonnie's plan, but by the end, she decides she truly wants Marcus to be her friend.^note In the first two episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Princess Luna was evil until the Elements of Harmony (Honesty, Laughter, Generosity, Kindness, Loyalty, and Magic) reformed her and she was happily reunited with Princess Celestia

• Noodle Incident: Silvia apparently went on vacation in Colombia at some point.
• Not-So-Phony Psychic: Jennifer uses obvious tricks in her shows, but actually does have telekinetic powers. But it was all a trick thanks to invisible wires.
• Shout-Out: There are a ton of references to My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
  • Jennifer sports a Derpy pin on her outfit.
    • Later, she and Marcus agree that Derpy got a lot of hate after her first speaking role.
  • Marcus tells Dana he made a toy ring out of a tortoise figure, naming it Tank the Tortoise.
  • Marcus and Jennifer's "Pegasus binoculars" are light blue, referring to the character Rainbow Dash.
  • Jennifer compares herself to Princess Luna and Marcus to a male version of Princess Celestia.
  • At one point, Marcus and Jennifer do a "Brohoof".
  • At the restaurant, Jennifer and Marcus discuss the events of A Canterlot Wedding.
    • Marcus also mentions the Cutie Mark Crusaders in the discussion.
  • Jennifer makes Dana take a Pinkie Promise.
• Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: Prior to this story, Jennifer was Silvia's "mortal enemy". This is no longer the case since Silvia has become business partners with Bonnie and is perfectly fine with Marcus' friendship with Jennifer.
• Wham Episode: Bonnie has the second volume of the journal that Dana found.
