While Seox is ready turn himself to the Crew of Enforcers for massacring his own clan, Seofon and Anre objects due it leading to potential issues regarding the reputation of the Eternals as the strongest crew. This naturally leads into the two crews fighting each other over who has the right gain Seox's custody.

Arriving at Stardust Town, the crew of the Grandcypher comes across a humungous Draph with a childlike mind, suspicious that he might have a few connections to the Magasin family.


Tropes

  • Genocide Backfire: There's one other survivor from Karm who held a grudge against Seox, Nehan.
  • Gone Horribly Right: The one thing that lead to the Karm Clan's demise was ultimately their refusal to drop their assassination ways and their treatment of Seox as a prodigy. His father assumes that the alarming rate of Seox's learning would give him an exception to the clan's Rite of Passage; the rite failed and the majority of the clan is killed off.
  • Let No Crisis Go to Waste: The battle between the Crew of Enforcers and the Eternals gave an opportunity for the Magasin family to attack Stardust Town. Unfortunately for them, it was all a part of the two crews' plans.
  • Rite of Passage: The Karm Clan's rite involes taking a dose of Trancensia, which makes the user go berserk if not trained properly, which happened to a young Seox.
  • Significant Wardrobe Shift: The Eternals give Seox a new set of clothes before he sets off for his duel against Nehan, indicating that he's fighting for himself instead of fighting as an Eternal.
  • Unspoken Plan Guarantee: The animosity between the Crew of Enforces and the Eternals being a ruse to draw out the Magasin family is only shown after the entire family is arrested.
