• Failed a Spot Check: Miko and the Glitch Techs aren't aware that Lexi is hiding on another room overhearing their proposal of working for Glitch Techs.
• Five-Second Foreshadowing: Just before Five enters the Hinobi Smash game, a spectator in the audience could be seen carrying a sign cheering for a player named ME_K.O.. Shortly after, Five runs into said player as Miko logs into the game herself.
• The Immune: Miko being unaffected by the Hinobi mind wipe tech ultimately sets the second half of the episode, and the series at large, into play.
• Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Mitch doesn't download his glitch from the beginning of the episode, causing to be accidentally released in the arcade after Miko confronts him and a fight ensues.
• So Proud of You: Miko's parents (even before the mind wipe) are legitimately impressed when the Glitch Techs offer to hire Miko.
• Television Portal: When the Hinobi Smash monster glitches, its arms reach out through the screens in the stadium and through Miko's home TV.
• "Well Done, Daughter!" Girl: Miko just wants her parents to respect her achievements and take her hobbies/activities as seriously as her siblings'.
