The class reinterprets the mexican sitcom El Chavo del ocho. While Kevin Costa (Don Ramón) drinks coffee at Delcídio's (Doña Clotilde) house, Fudêncio (Chavo) and Funérea (Chilindrina) do everything they can to get at least a bite of the ham sandwich Conrado (Quico) is eating.
Tropes:
- Adapted Out: There's no equivalent for Señor Barriga in the episode.
- Alternate Reality Episode: Much like the show it's referencing, this episode takes place in Mexico from The '70s, separately from the show which takes place in Brazil from the 2000s. Conrado does remember being unlucky before, though.
- Incest Subtext: Conrado still has a crush on Zé Maria in this episode, even though the characters they're reinterpreting are cousins in the original show.
- Whole-Plot Reference: To El Chavo del ocho.
- Yank the Dog's Chain: Conrado wrongfully accuses Fudêncio from eating his ham sandwich so he can get punished. Cudi believes and forces Fudêncio to make another sandwich for her son, making Conrado believes he'll be lucky this time. However, Fudêncio brings a sandwich with a dead man between the breadsnote , and even though Conrado doesn't want it, Cudi forces him to eat.
