Original Air Date: June 18, 2018

Isshiki shows his real skills, to the surprise of everyone, while his shared childhood with Nene is discussed.

This episode provides examples of:

  • All Your Powers Combined: Isshiki's dish was made with the objective of showcasing the ingredients made with the talents of all the members of Polar Star (and Ikumi). The cheese was made by Yuuki, with resource contacts from Ikumi. The sake was made with Ryoko's fermentation techniques and Marui's knowledge on Sake varieties, and the garlic chips were made by Shun, with Daigo and Shoji carrying the firewood.
  • Always Second Best: Nene resents Isshiki because he is an Instant Expert in everything he grasps, in contrast to all the hard work she has to do to be nearly as good as him.
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: While everyone is impressed by Isshiki's skills, Hisako and Ikumi wonder aloud how he can be this good despite his tendency to go Naked Apron around the dorms.
  • Clark Kent Outfit: Despite being skinnier than Daigo and Shoji, Shun wasn't even tired after cutting and carrying the firewood with the others, and even insisted on going for more.
  • Impossibly Delicious Food:
    • Julio Shiratsu's Capitone in Umido is a rich eel stew with a tomato sauce base and garnished with two crispy polenta slices. Eating this dish induces the sensation of being pinned and squeezed by a incredibly voluptuous bust.
    • On the other hand, Satoshi Isshiki's Hitsumabushi: Polar Star Dorm Flavor consists of cheese risotto garnished with roasted eel and finished with a broth made of the eel's liver and sake.
  • The Power of Friendship: Isshiki's main objective with his dish was not only to showcase his dormmates' talents, also showing the judges why he is fighting to protect them. A taste of Ryoko's sake is enough to reassure that they will remain a fair neutral party.
