Things finally start to get interesting in Block A, when Ryou Kurokiba, Alice Nakiri's mysterious assistant finally makes his debut.

- Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Akira's dish filling the arena with a potent aroma.
- Evolving Credits: In the Opening Rising Rainbow, Megumi's vegetables are pumpkins. For the Ending Sacchan no Sexy Curry, Senzaemon Nakiri is walking past Erina.
- Fangirl: Madoka starts to squee over Marui getting one of the top scores.
- The Immodest Orgasm: Natsume Sendawara has a lot of them starting with Ryou's dish.
- Impossibly Delicious Food:
- Ryou Kurokiba's French Curry Lobster Rice with Cognac was praised by it's vivid colors and fragrance, with the golden yellow curry rice and the crimson lobster, the flavor of the dish is delicious and the aroma itself is sweet as the flower's fragment. The additional of the high class Cognac dish combined with the the lobster brains gives the dish an extra kick. It's so vibrant that the judges felt like been sent to space.
- Mito Ikumi's Dongpo Pork Curry Donburi makes use of pork belly meat so tender that the fork can easily pick it apart. The sauce is made of Oyster Sauce, Soy Sauce, Shaoxing Wine, Star Anise, Ginger, Sichuan Pepper and other ingredients. The rice was also complemented with Rock Salt and Tanjōyu, which made the heavy meat easy to eat. It gave Ikumi the title of "Meat General".
- Ryoko Sakaki also presented her Curry Soy-Natto Rice, which consisted of special Natto made by charcoal-fire, custom-made shojukoji (shoyu sauce with rice malt).
- To the surprise of everyone, Zenji Marui manages to get one of the highest scores with his White Potage Curry Udon. The judges couldn't stop slurping the thick noodles, paired with a Vichyssoise Roux made of mashed potatoes and cream, with poached eggs, melted cheese and sweet potato as toppings.
- Shun Ibusaki's Special Smoked Curry also manages to tie with Marui's score, as he presented a full curry dish composed of all smoked ingredients: the bacon, eggs, apple chips, potatoes, spices, and even the salt, as it's a special kind called Moshio (seaweed salt). The aroma was so strong that the judges called him "The Prince of Smoke".
- Visual Pun: During Ikumi's Imaginary Spot, Natsume is sitting on a tank as it fires, just as she is finished with her foodgasm.
