Hot and Cold Running Sniffer Dog is the second episode in Series 6 of Fireman Sam.
Mandy wants to prove that Radar is helpful to the fire service.

- Heroic Dog: Radar tracks Mike's scent to the Wholefish Cafe and finds him injured, giving Mandy and Norman the cue to phone the fire service.
- Malaproper: Dilys keeps mixing up "feng shui" with "chop suey".
- Sanity Ball: Norman, normally a prankster, serves as a straight man to Mandy's antics with Radar, and later alerts the fire service to an injured Mike.
- Slapstick: Elvis and Penny mess around with a stair chair, and later Elvis falls off it right on his face.
