Home from Rome is the first episode in Series 4 of Fireman Sam.
Bella is setting up a party in her cafe, but gets stuck in a lift.

- Animation Bump: The characters' animation is noticeably smoother here than in previous episodes.
- Blatant Lies: Dilys' postcard proclaims the opposite of what's actually happening on her Italian holiday; when she says the weather is great and the food is cordon bleu, she's seen on a cloudy, rainy beach, and Norman mentions they've been living off spaghetti for the entire trip.
- Elevator Failure: Bella and Rosa get stuck in the lift of Bingles Department Store.
- Tempting Fate: Bella tells Rosa that she cannot escape from the lift. She ends up being too right; the lift gets stuck, so both Bella and Rosa are trapped.
