A group of Albanian terrorists assault the Balkan Philharmonic Auditorium in Sofia, Bulgaria and hold the audience hostage, with fifteen American students among them. Meanwhile, Tank undergoes surgery at the vet.

- Everyone Has Standards: Despite being one of their more loyal members, the Albanian National Army wanted nothing to do with Kostov and his extremist methods.
- Hypocrite: Kostov expresses that trust is one of the most important things out there, despite being guilty of tricking his crew into helping with a job that was totally different from what they were told.
- I Lied: According to the deserter, the original plan was to secretly kidnap the Russian oligarch who had been attending the concert for ransom. It turns out Kostov's real plan was to kill the oligarch and hold the concert hall attendees hostage for ten million dollars in American cryptocurrency given to him by the FBI for their safety. The Fly Team express their disgust at Kostov for having lied to his own crew like that.
- Not What I Signed Up For: One of Kostov's men deserts him with help from the Fly Team after realizing Kostov lied to him about the job and tells them everything he knows. While two other members are the same and surrender when given the opportunity, the rest of Kostov's men are implied to have been completely loyal to his cause either way.
- Sanity Slippage: Kostov was already crazy enough that the ANA wanted nothing to do with him despite his loyalty to them, then he became completely unhinged after being told that he had a terminal illness.
- Terminally-Ill Criminal: A group of terrorists led by Ivo Kostov takes a Concert Hall full of multinational students and their families hostage, demanding a fortune transferred for their safe release. The team's efforts to resolve the situation are further hampered by the discovery that Ivo, previously a minor member of an Albanian Separatist group known only for petty crimes, is dying of a fatal blood clot and is thus fanatically committed to doing something meaningful for his cause before his life comes to an end.
- Your Days Are Numbered: Prior to the events of the episode, Kostov had been diagnosed with multiple severe blood clots after suffering an ischemic stroke. Instead of undergoing surgery that had only a fifty percent chance of success, he decided to kill the Russian oligarch whose immigration policies stood in the way of the Albanian National Army's unification goals and stage a hostage crisis to obtain enough money to fund the organization after he's gone.
