The sequel to the cartoon show episode "A Hug For Grouchy". Empath and Tapper stand outside Tapper's Tavern, which is designated a "No Hug Zone" for their friend Grouchy to be safe in.
This episode provides the following examples of:
- Attempted Rape: Sneaky's sneaking into the tavern to assault Grouchy with an unwanted hug is an analog to this.
- Cuddle Bug: Most of the Smurfs except for Grouchy.
- Does This Remind You of Anything?: A group of Smurfs all gathering around Tapper's Tavern demanding to be let in to hug Grouchy comes off as the Smurf equivalent of the men of Sodom ganging around Lot's house so they could "know" the visiting angels in the Book of Genesis.
- Hates Being Touched: Grouchy. Though at the end, he does accept a hug from Empath and Tapper.
- Human Mail: Jokey tries to mail himself in a package that he sends to Tapper's Tavern via Courier Smurf, but Empath senses this and tells Jokey to come out of the package, foiling his attempt to hug Grouchy.
