Emmy loves winning games, so when she loses a game of Freeze Dance with the others, she gets angry and quits. Quetzal helps Emmy see that even though it's fun to win, winning isn't always everything.

After Zak steps on a spiny-pine and gets one of its thorns stuck in his foot, he has to go see Dr. Booboogone, but is too scared to go. But since he can't compete in the two-headed dragon contest with his foot hurting, the others help him see that the doctor isn't so bad after all.
