Asshole Victim: Yul is poisoned by James in the end of the episode, but it's hard to say it was undeserved given that Yul originally wanted to do the same to Aiden.
Beauty Is Never Tarnished: A notable aversion. After being punched in the face by Maggy in the previous episode, Yul still has a black eye throughout this entire episode.
Crush Blush: In a "blink and you miss it" moment, one can notice Aiden blushing upon seeing James naked.
Dominance Through Furniture: One of Kristal's dares during the Queen's Challenge is that Yul serves as her footstool.
Everyone Has Standards: Played with. James says in a confessional that poisoning someone's food is too much... unless that person is Yul. Given how much of a jerkass Yul is, it's easy to understand James' reasoning.
Hoist by His Own Petard: Yul comes up with the plan to poison Aiden to get him out of the game rather than voting him out and relying on another tiebreaker. But he has James plant the poison mushroom he finds in Aiden's food, and thus James betrays Yul and puts the mushroom in Yul's food instead.

Non-Gameplay Elimination: Yul is medically evacuated at the elimination ceremony due to being poisoned by the mushroom James put in his food. Downplayed though since Kristal reveals Yul was eliminated anyway with three votes.
"The Reason You Suck" Speech: Lake delivers a harsh one to Kristal after the Queen Challenge gets out of hand and Kristal orders Lake to remove her wig.
Tampering with Food and Drink: Yul plans to make James poison Aiden's food with a poisonous mushroom to force him to have a medical evacuation and leave the show. However, James ends up betraying Yul and poisoning him instead.
