When Ace's new invention is wrecked overnight, She and Skya set out to find out just what exactly happened. Meanwhile, the guys have found a ball of random metal and are eager to find out what it might contain.
- Beneath Notice: Ace pretends to be Skrap-It in order to get information from D-Structs. It works particularly well because D-Structs doesn't even bother to look at Skrap-It when they are talking. Despite her plan, she finds out that D-Structs doesn't know anything about her broken design.
- A Day in the Limelight: Most of the plot, including what it is named after, follows the exploits of Ace and Skya.
- Foreshadowing: Revvit is extremely impressed with the way Skya and Ace used lava to melt down and reforge metal, but it won't be until next season that he gets to do anything with that concept.
- Mid-Season Upgrade: Skrap-It replaces D-Structs' buzzsaw tail with a claw tail.
