During a rather odd night, Digimon are suddenly attacking humans, with Kiyoshiro being the first of the heroes to notice when Jellymon attacks him. With the help of a few Digimon, the cast has to find the source of the berserk Digimon attacks, while under attack by their own partners!
- Big Damn Heroes: Clockmon ends up serving this role quite well, swiftly rescuing humans from corrupted Digimon during the night, and even going to save Morphomon himself once they've been located.
- Bad Moon Rising: Morphomon's corrupted SOS signal being sent up to the satellite causes the moon to resemble a blood moon, though the appearance goes away after WezenGammamon shoots down the satellite.
- Brainwashed and Crazy: As a result of the intense fear of humans they had while trying to send messages to other Digimon for help, Morphomon ends up causing Digimon to go berserk and attack humans instead, with Red Eyes, Take Warning and antennae resembling Morphomon's showing up on the corrupted Digimon. Hiro's only able to snap Gammamon out of it via an extremely spicy sauce he's been preparing, plus several other spicy condiments.
- The Bus Came Back: Mummymon ends up making an appearance after being absent for a large amount of episodes, and proves critical in discovering the cause of Digimon running rampant.
- Time Stands Still: Clockmon is able to inflict this effect on the corrupted Digimon, allowing him to take them away before they harm any humans.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: The researcher that captured Morphomon, simply wanting to be seen as more than just an amateur scientist, is quite unaware of the Digimon rampages occuring as a result of Morphomon's capture.
