The Fallen house loyal to Queen Mara Sov of the Reefborn Awoken have fractured, causing the House of Wolves to start plotting out their own corner of the territory. The Guardians are invited to assist in restoring stability in the region, and also help the allied Fallen Varriks keep order in the Prison of Elders.
House of Wolves contains examples of:
- Breather Episode: All things considered, very little is at stake with most of the story centered on clearing out waves of enemies in the Prison of Elders.
- Badass Normal: Petra Venj is the military commander of the Awoken, she's not a guardian but the respect she commands for her combat skills could deceive you into thinking she is.
- Enemy Mine: The Awoken of the Reef are on uneasy terms with Guardians from the Last City, but see their assistance as more important.
