TJ tries to find a way the Rangers can outsmart the Psycho Rangers, just as a Silver one appears.
Tropes:
- An Ice Person: Nezi Blue's monster form Nezi Bizarre, who makes it snow and even nearly freezes Mega Voyager solid.
- Ax-Crazy: Nezi Blue in a nutshell and, yes, he wields an axe.
- Badass Bookworm: After a failed attempt of swapping partners, Shun figures out a way to combat the Nezi Rangers by disguising the rest of the team as Mega Blye to exploit their obsession with defeating their counterpart.
- Big Damn Heroes: Mega Silver saves Mega Blue from getting an axe in the face, holding Nezi Blue long enough for Hinelar to teleport the group away.
- Dressing as the Enemy: "Nezi Silver" turns out to be Yuusaku sowing confusion among the Nezi Rangers.
- "Eureka!" Moment: Shun studies footage of the fight looking for some kind of weakness when Yuusaku arrives. The playback soon gets messed up with the footage in black and white, giving Shun the idea to disguise the team and use a fake Nezi Ranger.
- Evil Sounds Deep: "Nezi Silver". Justified as Yuusaku was disguising his voice.
- Never Recycle Your Schemes: Averted. The initial plan was just to force each of the Nezi Rangers to face a different Ranger color; it works at first, but then the Nezi Rangers saw through the plan and reassert their usual opponents. The others are content to start from square one, but Shun gets the idea to disguise their colors.
- Opponent Switch : Subverted. While seeming like a good strategy on paper, as lampshaded by Nezi Blue, it's not that difficult for the villains to just switch back to the opponents they have a chance against. Fortunately, Shun solves the situation by just disguising the team in his colors.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: With five Mega Blues, Nezi Yellow washes her hands of the whole thing. Nezi Red and Black follow suit after Blue, having a mental breakdown over not telling the real Mega Blue from the fakes, attacks them and says he'll handle Nezi Silver.
