Go To

The Rebellion embark on a mission to destroy the Thought Elevators, while Megatron works on a counter for Optimus' Star Saber.

  • Apologetic Attacker: Anya tearfully apologizes when she's about to engage Arcee, Elita, the Guren, and the Lancelot.
  • Cliffhanger: The chapter ends with Megatron activating the Forge of Solus Prime, thanks to Liege Maximo's stolen arm.
Megatron: Ah… yes. At long last… the power of the Primes belongs… to me!
  • Dropped a Bridge on Him: Bartley ends up getting vaporized by a random energy blast when the trap is sprung on the Autobots and Black Knights who broke into the Geass Order to free the imprisoned scientists.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Even Lloyd found Dr. Arkeville to be a certified nutjob.
  • Internal Reveal:
    • Cera reveals the existence of Ragnarök and her involvement in the Geass Order to the others.
    • Toto also tells everyone about her past membership in the Order.
  • Oh, Crap!: Pretty much the Autobot/Black Knight Alliance's reaction when it turns out Shockwave was expecting them... and with upgraded troops.
  • Out-Gambitted: Shockwave anticipated that the Autobots and Black Knights would attack the Geass Order and the Thought Elevators, laying traps at each of them.
  • Right for the Wrong Reasons: The Autobots and Black Knights initially bring up fears that Jeremiah is a Fake Defector that Shockwave is using to bait them into an attack. While Jeremiah was sincere in his change of heart, it turns out that Shockwave just expected Jeremiah to change sides and worked it into his plans.
  • Shadow Archetype: After hearing about the Geass Order's original plans for Project Ragnarök, Lelouch can't help but note how it's a twisted version of the Autobot's 'Til all are one' philosophy.
  • Time Abyss: When examining the Star Saber, Rakshata, Nina, Lloyd, and Fixit talk about how the sword was created near the beginning of the universe, which according to Rakshata, would put the sword at nearly 13 billion years old.
