Aelita has nightmares of her mother calling to her in the night, and goes to Jérémie's room, but find Laura already there. Jérémie reveals he has an Anti-Virus for XANA, and can deploy it now if need be. However, Odd and Ulrich get detention and sprain their leg respectively.
This episode contains examples of:
- Broken Bird: Aelita see's herself as this, self-admittedly, to which Jérémie even admits that Aelita doesn't talk about her mother much. Turns out losing both parents will do a number on your mental state.
- Continuity Nod: Aelita explains to Yumi that she isn't mad at Jérémie for not seeing her too much, and references how he turned on the supercomputer and her rematerialisation.
- No Antagonist: XANA isn't really a threat in this episode, and neither is Tyron. Tyron find out later and sends Ninja's to kill Aelita, but Jérémie devirtualises her in time.
- Something We Forgot: Kiwi, Odd's dog in the animated series, is mentioned as living with his sisters, explaining why Kiwi isn't in the series.
- Wham Episode: Aelita's mother works for Tyron, and she's clearly upset about it. It's because of this that Jérémie and the others call the mission off. Aelita chastises him for this, but later reveals that it was a group decision, and that using the XANA Virus would've destroyed the Cortex, and so did not want to delete any way of discovering her parents.
- Visual Pun:
- Odd gets homesick that Kiwi isn't with him, while holding a kiwi fruit.
- Manta's don't fly in the space sea, which tips off Jérémie that XANA has gotten more powerful.
