Recap / Castle S 6 E 21 Law And Boarder

Go To

A competitive skateboarder's murder is investigated, which points to the unexplained death of a young boy in the past.

This episode provides examples of:

  • Action Prologue: We open with a guy on a motorcycle chasing a skateboarder through the city, then murdering him.
  • Best Woman: Ryan and Eposito compete throughout the episode over who gets to be Castle’s Best Man, only to learn he chose Alexis to be his Best Man.
  • Broken Win/Loss Streak: Castle lost a game of Scrabble to Beckett earlier which he obsesses over all episode since according to his family, no one has ever beaten him before. He then loses again the night after he declines Beckett's offer to let him win. The third night they just end up switching to Strip Poker.
  • He Knows Too Much: DK murders Logan because he stole the tape showing DK's murder of Logan's friend Jay.
  • Innocently Insensitive: Tragic example as DK murders Logan's friend for mocking him.
