"Clue: SI" is the 7th episode of Season 9 and the 187th overall. It originally aired November 9, 2012.
The evidence, locations and weapons in a series of murders lead the team to believe that the culprit is playing a real-life game of Cluedo, so they attempt to get a step ahead of him to prevent any more deaths. Concerned that Christine is still not returning his calls, Mac pays her a surprise visit at the restaurant and admits his aphasia problem, which ultimately results in their reconciliation. Meanwhile, Lindsay gets pranked at work and is determined to figure out who's responsible.
Tropes for the episode:
- Eyepiece Prank: Lindsay has blue rings around her eyes from dye left on a microscope. She wears sunglasses to cover them up. Danny turns out to be the culprit, but he admits the prank was for Adam, not her.
- I Am Very British: A psychiatrist who is one of the suspects has a strong, refined British accent.
- Love Confession: At the end of the episode, Mac picks Christine up for a date and finally tells her he loves her. She responds by kissing him.
- Mini-Golf Episode: Downplayed. One of the victims is a mini golf employee found on one of the greens near the "Ball Room."
- Product Placement: Hasbro gave the show the rights to use their game. Three different versions of the board are used throughout the episode.
- Pun-Based Title: For the franchise name, obviously.
- Self-Harm: Sid discovers in autopsy that the first victim had been cutting herself, in spite of being the star ballerina of the show she had been practicing for at the time of her death.
